Will glass coffins be a success? Remains to be seen.
It's hard to explain puns to kleptomaniacs because they always take things literally.
Last night, I dreamed I was swimming in an ocean of orange soda. But it was just a Fanta sea.

Handling Grade Stamps on Remanufactured Lumber
This article applies to grade stamps only and not to HT marks where no grade is identified on the mark.
When is it necessary to obliterate a grade stamp on lumber processed at a facility?
ALSC lumber regulations state the following:
5.10.1 When grade stamped lumber is resawn or remanufactured in such a way as to potentially alter the grade, the original mark shall be removed or obliterated except in the following circumstances:
In short, if lumber is less than 2 foot in length or precut pallet components, then the grade mark on the original board does not require obliteration. This is also true for any dunnage packaging material like the bolsters that go under lumber packs and receive a dunnage mark.
General examples of remanufactured products for which section 5.10 requires obliteration include:
It is important to note that the original intent of section 5.10 was to protect the primary manufacturer's product from being misrepresented in the marketplace which is something all manufacturers can appreciate.
Stamp Protocol for Offsite Use
American Lumber Standard Committee, Incorporated® Wood Packaging Material Enforcement Regulations Issued November 7, 2014 state:
5.6.12.1 "Except by prior written arrangement with the agency and notification to the ALSC, the quality marks issued by an agency to a specific facility location are to be used only at that location."
Stamps are licensed and assigned to specific locations and taking a stamp offsite is not allowed. There are very rare occassions where written authorization is given by the agency upon a written request from the facility. Inspector oversight may be required in these situations at an additional expense to the facility. It is best to ensure all WPM is properly marked prior to shipment in order to avoid any issues. Stamps must be kept secure at all times at the facility they are assigned to.
